Yola- The only private radio and television station in north-east Nigeria, has retrenched about 50% of its staff
Premium Times learnt that it was about 120 members of staff were sacked.
The firm is owned by former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, who owns the only privately owned radio and television station in North-Eastern Nigeria.

The staff collected their sack letters and cheques following the release of an internal memo by the company’s Head of Administration, Mohammed Yahaya.
The memo directed all staff to check with the administration and account departments.
