Maiduguri - A bunch of refugee kids singing ABC brought former U.K. Foreign Secretary David Miliband to his knees in the heart of Boko Haram territory.
Miliband, president of the International Rescue Committee, kneeled to make eye contact with the children in a refugee camp in Maiduguri.
On a tour of camps Monday, Miliband disclosed that many of the children have been orphaned by the Islamic uprising.
When he asked one boy what he wished for, the child said he wants to go back home. He asked Miliband to help.
The military reports destroying dozens of camps of Boko Haram militants recently, but many areas remain unsafe.
