Abuja - Honourable Rita Orji, Chairman of the House Committee on Diaspora Affairs, has lashed out at the recent surge in killing of Nigerian nationals in South Africa, Vanguard has reported.
According to Orji, the epidemic is only worsening over time.
Orji has urged Nigerian Consul to South Africa, Uche Ajulu-Okeke, to present a report to the Federal Government on the issue as he had previously promised.

Orji's sentiments come in response to the recent death of Nigerian national Timothy Chinedu, allegedly at the hands of officials from the South African Police Service.
She also made mention of a December incident, in which a woman, Christiana Onyeka, was killed by unidentified gunmen inside her husband's office near Johannesburg.
Orji has described the brutality experienced by Nigerian nationals in South Africa as "tragic" and has called on authorities to employ stringent measures to tackle the problem.
