Abuja - The Federal High Court in Port Harcourt,
Rivers State has deferred the matter against two suspects accused of fraud to
the tune of about US$3 million to September.
The suspects, John Elijah Edet and Jeffery Ulu Orji, have
appeared before the courts on an eight-count charge of internet fraud and
obtaining by false pretence.
The accused persons were apprehended following an
intelligence report on their alleged fraudulent escapades.

Upon their arrest, it is reported various scam mails were
printed from their laptops which they use in defrauding unsuspecting victims.
The matter has been adjourned to September 21, 27 and 28 for
trial as the defendants are ordered to be remanded in prison custody.
