Abuja - The Rivers State government has expressed outrage at the arrest of State Secretary Kenneth Kobani, as well as Cyril Wite, Governor Wike's adviser, who's immediate release has been insisted upon.
According to a Naij report, the government has described the arrests as "shameful" and labelled the developments a "kick in the face of constitutional democracy."

Austin Tam-George, Commissioner for Information and Communication, has lambasted security officials, calling them out for acting violently against innocent civilians.
“Never in the history of Rivers state have we witnessed such a blatant deployment of maximum violence against unarmed voters,” he said.
