Abuja - The Federal Road Safety Corps has bemoaned the incessant killing of corps in the line of duty.
This follows the killing of three marshals and injuring a police officer and a staff of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps in Tsafe, Zamfara State, where a driver allegedly drove into them.
It was disclosed at least 35 regular marshals have been killed in similar fashion on local highways this year alone by drivers.
The Niger State is said to be the worst affected by such killings.
Bisi Kazeem, Head, Media Relations and Strategy of FRSC, demanded the arrest and prosecution of the culprits.
The driver accused of the murder in Zamfara has since been arrested and handed over to the police for further investigations.
