Abuja - The detained former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki has lost his father, Ibrahim Dasuki, Monday evening at a hospital in Abuja.
The late Dasuki, a former Sultan of Sokoto, died on Monday at the Turkish Hospital in Abuja.
He was aged 93.
The cause of death is not yet known.

Dasuki, was deposed in 1996 by the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha, after he was installed by Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida, in 1988.
He was on the throne for eight years before his deposition and banishment to Zing, in Taraba State.
Dasuki will buried on Tuesday November 15, 2016 after the 2.00pm afternoon prayers at at Hubbaren Shehu Usman Dan Fodio Site in Sokoto State.
