Saraki declares Nigeria will surmount economic crisis

Abuja - Senate President, Bukola Saraki has declared that the economic crisis that has rocked the country will be tackled through legislative support, Vanguard reported.

Saraki reassured Nigerians during an interaction with journalists in Ilorin that the Senate when they resume on September 20 will tackling the economic crisis.

The Senate President further stated "we are going to have exhaustive and comprehensive debate on fixing the country's economy when we resume next week."

He also mentioned that priority bills will also be analysed and those involved in the management of the economy will be invited to address the parliament on the kind of steps that will be taken to get the country of the mess.

Plausible solutions will be taken into consideration and will be implemented in order to better the economy.

This comes after the Federal Government has promised to boost the N109 billion into the economy so that the dire situation can be better.
