Abuja - The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested and detained the Special Assistant to the Senate President on Youth and Student Matters, Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere.
Ugochinyere, a lawyer, was arrested on Monday and still being held at the DSS office in Abuja.
Ugochinyere is also the President of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).

Ikenga’s brother, Obinna Ikeagwuonu in a statement released on Tuesday, stated that the family has not seen or heard from Ikenga since he entered into the premises of the headquarters of the DSS on Monday.
Obinna suggested that his brother was interrogated over a petition by the Minister of Youths and Sports Development Solomon Dalung where he called for the Minister to be sacked.
