Security agencies hard at work to apprehend Tompolo

Abuja - Security agencies are going all out in a bid to find an ex-militant who refuses to appear in court, even mounting surveillance at airports to ensured his arrest, Punch has reported.

Government Ekpemupolo, commonly known as Tompolo, has been evading security operatives ever since his arrest was ordered following his refusal to appear in court.

Security personnel are now in a hurry to find the him, going as far as employing the expertise of airport security officials to ensure that he does not skip the countries as reports have suggested.

The seizure of Tompolo's assets was granted by the court on February 11, leading many to speculate that Tompolo might have to leave the country in order to further evade arrest.

Bisi Kolawole, PR Officer for the Bayelsa Force, has since stated that the search remains ongoing and that Tompolo will be found.
