Abuja - The Senate has received a petition against the Chairman of Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), Danladi Umar.
Senator Obina Oba brought the petition to the plenary.
He said the petition is on the alleged involvement of the CCT chairman on financial mismanagement and corruption.

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, referred the petition to the Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges.
The committee is expected to submit their report in two weeks.
Umar has been accused of misappropriation of N10 million in public funds.
