Abuja - Some senators on Tuesday paid a solidarity visit to some of the inmates at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) cell in Abuja
Among the detainees visited were three former ministers, Femi Fani-Kayode, Musiliu Obanikoro and Bala Muhammed, and former presidential spokesperson, Reuben Abati.
The detainees are facing corruption charges but have dismissed the charges as trumped up.

Among the visiting senators are four serving ones identified as Isah Hamma from Bauchi Central, Ali Wakili from Bauchi South, Ali Ndume from Borno South, and Philips Aduda from the Federal Capital Territory, reports Punch
A former Oyo State senator, Teslim Folarin, was also among the visitors.
