Lagos – Nigerian coach, Samson Siasia reported that the
kidnappers who abducted his mother are demanding N150 million, reports the

Siasia is currently with the national team in Gambia expressing
grave concern over his mother’s release.
He explained that his hope is gradually diminishing as he is
on national duty while relying on others to ensure his mother release.
“My family contact that is discussing with the kidnappers is
still discussing with them and they have not changed their position on the N150
million ransom request. But all my hope is in God Almighty to touch the hearts
of the kidnappers to free my mum,” he said.
Siasia also said that government have not yet intervened nor
communicated condolences or offered any help.
He said he is in the dark about efforts from the Minister of
Youths and Sports Solomon Dalung and the Director General of the NSC Mallam
Meanwhile Moses Siloko who is running in the governorship
elections in Bayelsa criticised the government for their lack of support.
“The Governor of Bayelsa State Seriake Dickson has not
called any member of the family; neither has any of his aides done so, at least
to show love, affection and identify with us and also proffer ways of solving
this problem. It’s only the DSS (Department of State Services) that has come to
our aid, that has been assisting us,” he said.
