Ekiti State - The National Association of Nigerian Students, Ekiti State chapter earlier today took to the streets earlier today to show their dissatisfaction at the unpaid salaries owed to them by Governor Ayodele Fayose, Punch reports.

The students held up various banners and placards accusing Fayose of not caring about the workers' plight, who've not been paid 5 months worth of salaries.
The President of NANS, Ekiti Chapter, Shina Awopeju angrily said that the protests had negatively affected the education sector and disrupted ongoing examinations.
News24 Nigeria previously reported that Governor Fayose said that the Ekiti government did not have the necessary funds available to pay workers their entire salary.
