Abuja – A teenage suicide bomber reportedly repented after she ripped off her vest to avoid taking part in the recent attack on a camp for people made homeless by the Boko Haram insurgency.
Two other female bomber who were with her killed at least 58 people at the camp in Borno State.

As reports indicate, the attack happened in Dikwa, about 90km from the Borno state capital, Maiduguri, on Tuesday morning and is was believed to be a reprisal for a military strike on Boko Haram strongholds in the area last week.
According to NewsDay, the third would-be bomber, aged around 14 years, has since confessed, saying she was scared to continue with the operation as she knew she would kill people.
A rescue official said the girl has since given officials information about other planned bombings.
