Abuja - The Supreme Court on Friday upheld the death sentence of a Lagos man for the murder of a woman in October of 2004, Premium Times has reported.
The accused, Nonso Okeke, is said to have conspired to commit the murder and followed through with the act at her residence in Festac Town.

Although the man was found guilty, convicted and sentenced, Okeke still took his case to the Lagos Court of Appeal where it was subsequently dismissed.
In its judgement, the Supreme Court has that the appeal lacked merit and the sentence therefore stands.
