Abuja - A 17-year-old girl simply identified as Zara who was freed by soldiers from the Boko Haram captivity has confessed that she still loves and misses her terrorist husband.
Zara who is not one of the famous abducted Chibok girls said that when they were abducted they were given the chance to either be slaves or bride.
She was three-month pregnant when she was rescued by men of the Nigerian Army during a bombardment of the Sambisa forest.
She said family members and people in the community resented her for being pregnant for a Boko Haram terrorist.

She further stated that the pregnancy was debated on by family members whether to be kept or terminated. It was later agreed that the pregnancy be kept.
“People call me a Boko Haram wife and called me a criminal. They didn’t want me near. They didn’t like me.”
“They didn’t like my child. When he fell sick nobody would look after him,” The nine month old child however was bitten by a snake one night while sleeping with Zara outside the house and died.
Mohamed Umaru who is Zara’s uncle said she always talks about her husband who happens to be a Boko Haram commander.
