Lagos - A suspected Boko Haram member on Monday narrowly escaped death in the Mile 2 area of Lagos State as he was almost lynched to death by an angry mob, reports Punch.
The suspect, identified as Musbau Ishola, wore a turban on a military cap and also had a long beard.
His dressing caught the attention of many people in the area.
Many of those who saw him were not comfortable with his mode of dressing and taught he might be a member of the Boko Haram sect.

The angry mob accosted him and pounced on him, beating him mercilessly.
The arrival of security operatives in the area saved the suspect from being lynched to death.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the incident, adding that investigations were ongoing.
She said the suspect was putting on the military camouflage of his elder brother, who claimed to be a military officer.
