Abuja - The Economic Financial Crimes Commission has opposed
an application made by Rickey Tarfa challenging the Lagos High Court to stop
his bribery trial, Punch reported.
Tarfa is being prosecuted for offering money of an mount of
N5.3 million to Justice Hyelazira Nganjiwa of the Federal High Court.
The EFCC alleges that Tarfa offered the justice money during
June 2012 and December 2015.

Tarfa was then arrested and pleaded not guilty on 27 counts.
He also refused to declare his assets before the court.
The case has been adjourned for April 20.
