Abuja - A private school teacher has allegedly beheaded a 10-year-old pupil in Esugbo, Ogun State over unpaid salaries due from her grandfather.
According to a Punch report, the heinous act took place on Thursday after the teacher, Edet Umoren, decided to take matters into her own hands, claiming that she was owed N8,000 - monthly salaries for two months owed to her by the victim's grandfather, Pastor Joseph Olitoye.
It has been alleged that the assailant captured the deceased, identified as Precious Adedeji, while she was walking with a friend to a nearby shop.
The victim's friend, Patricia, is alleged to have escaped the murder scene and reported the matter to Olitoye, saying that Precious was being attacked by "Uncle Edet".

Police Commissioner Abdulmajid Ali, has since revealed that the suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
