Calabar - Ten members of the Movement for the Actualisation
of Sovereign State of Biafra were arrested just after commemoration of Biafra
Anniversary Day in Cross River State, Vanguard reported.
State Coordinator of the group, Samuel Okah, along with nine
others has been detained at the Ikom police station.
According to reports, police did not give any reasons as to
why the members have been arrested. Okah states that police just went to their
homes and arrested members.

During the anniversary celebrations, MASSOB members lead a
peaceful march because non-violence was ordered for the day.
Today reports that people were encouraged to do their daily
duties as the group was only holding a peaceful march.
