Lagos - Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, the former Niger Delta militant leader has distanced himself from the attacks on Warri oil installations in Rivers State.
Today reports that Tompolo, who spoke through his media aide, Paul Bebenimibo, said that he could see why persons would carry out such incidents in defence of the arrest warrant by the Federal High Court of Nigeria against him.

“I am not responsible for the attack and I condemn it as a dastardly act. I am aware that some persons might want to destroy oil installations and link it with me that was why I said before time that I have nothing to do with it. I could not have gone ahead to carry out such action knowing that every finger will be pointed at me because of my case with the Federal Government,” Tompolo said.
Tompolo has also said that he is willing to work with the Federal Government in order to find the assailants.
