Abuja - Troops have killed an undisclosed
number terrorists after laying ambush against some elements of the Boko Haram
in Borno State.
Members of the 81 Battalion and 251 Task Force led the
siege at two of the sect's crossing points at Komala and Musafanari general
area coming from Sambisa forest.
Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani
Kukasheka Usman, disclosed the development.

He said the ambush party decisively dealt with some
terrorists on motorcycles in which a number of terrorists were killed and a few
others flee with gunshot wounds.
He added that the recovered items such as food, weapons
and vehicles showed the terrorists were out for a nefarious mission which was
aborted by the ambushes.
Usman said the troops were poised for the
clearance of the remnants of the Boko Haram terrorists in the country.
