Abuja - The Nigerian troops of 156 Task Force Battalion, 29 Task Force Brigade, have destroyed the Boko Haram administrative headquarters at Ngula and Kukuruk villages in Alagarno general area of Borno State.
The civilian joint taskforce aided the operations.
Confirming the report, Acting Director Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Kukasheka Usman, said troops encountered and engaged surprised elements of Boko Haram terrorists in a gun battle.

He said the terrorists escaped leaving trails of blood from gunshot wounds.
“The patrol team later made a startling discovery in the area. They found out that it served as the Boko Haram terrorists’ administration and harbour area, Field Hospital and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) making factory,” Usman said.
An assortment of things such as vehicles, weapons, foodstuff, military uniforms, medicine and wheelchairs were recovered.
