Lagos - Two men have allegedly been trapped in an
underground tanker in Lagos during a cleaning exercise carried out by a gas
station, Vanguard reported.
The victims have been identified as contractors who were
renovating the underground tank of the gas station.
This incident has left the workers dead, as they were found
in the late hours of yesterday after a rescue operation was conducted.

The bodies were discovered by Emergency Response Team and
was later transported to the morgue.
Immediate investigations by the ERT revealed that the two
suffocated through gas emmission inside the underground tank.
