Ondo - Two people have allegedly died following a strike led
by the Joint Negotiating Council of Nigeria Labour Congress due to the state
not being ale to pay salaries, Punch reported.
The deceased had belonged to the Ondo State civil service.
In another incident during the strike, a worker was caught
stealing due to not having being paid.

Government secretariats, parastatals, hospitals and schools
were under lock down and workers vouch that the strike will not be suspended
until government meets their needs.
PremiumTimes reports that the workers are protesting over a
non-payment of over five months salaries.
