Delta - Two Fulani herdsmen have been sentenced to 20 years
at a Delta State High Court for the illegal possession of firearms, Sun News
This follows the war that declared by police in herdsmen
carrying unlicensed firearms. as police warned they would be clamped down if
they were found to be carrying such, according to Punch.
The two men were suspected to be part of a group that was
terrorising farmers in the state.

The police division in Oshimili had received a call that a
group of Fulani boys were seen in the community armed with dangerous weapons of
the Anti-Robbery squad responded to the call.
The men were arrested for carrying unlicensed firearms.
