Maiduguri - Two suspected Boko Haram suicide bombers have blown themselves up in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, reports Vanguard.
The incident happened on Monday near Sulemanti mosque in Maiduguri.
Channels reports that the bombs went off prematurely, killing the two suspects during the midnight Ramadan prayers.
The Borno State police command explained that the suspects strapped with Improvised Explosive Devices targeted the mosque.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Boko Haram terrorist group had carried out similar attacks in the past.
The mosque has been condoned off by soldiers and policemen to prevent any further attacks on mosques and other public places in the metropolis.
