Abuja – The Shi'ite group, Islamic Movement of Nigeria has maintained in a video clip that the December 12 and 13 attack on its members by the Nigerian army in Zaria was "deliberate and planned".

At least 300 members of the sect were killed during the attack, which the military claimed came after Shi'ites tried to block the convoy of General Tukur Buratai.
Human Rights Watch described the raids as "unjustified", saying the army fired on unarmed Shi'ite children with no provocation.
In a video clip posted on You Tube, the Shi’ites denied claims that Buratai's convoy was blocked.
