Lagos - Details of how National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki diverted $2.1billion from the arms procurement fund for his own personal use, have been revealed in court papers released to Premium Times.
The papers include charges against some of his associates, and show how Dasuki distributed money meant to purchase arms to fight Boko Haram, to politicians, family members and friends.
Dasuki is docked before Justice Ademola Adeniyi, Federal High Court in Abuja on a six-count charge bordering on money laundering, alleged illegal possession of firearms, and before Justice Hussein Baba Yusuf, FCT High Court on a 19-count charge for illegally diverting N32 billion
He is also also arraigned before Justice Peter Affen, FCT High Court on a new 22-count charge for diversion of N13.6bn
He is presently facing a 47- count charge.
