Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari has threatened that his administration will rid the country of pipeline vandals and other saboteurs in the same way that the Armed Forces have dealt with members of Boko Haram, Punch has reported.
According to a statement released by Buhari's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the President made his utterances during a meeting with the Nigerian community in Beijing.
Buhari has sent out a plea to vandals, urging them to desist from their illegal actions immediately or face harsh consequences.
The President also reiterated his commitment to the anti-corruption war, saying that his administration was still being dared in this regard.

The government is still being dared, but those who are sensible should have learnt a lesson. Those who are mad, let them continue in their madness.
“I am aware that in the last two weeks, the national grid collapsed a number of times. I hope this message will reach the vandals and saboteurs, who are blowing up pipelines and installations.
“We will deal with them the way we dealt with Boko Haram,” Buhari stated.
President Buhari has also assured the Nigerian community that his Government is doing all they can to ensure the security of its citizens, saying that his administration will settle for nothing less than the full eradication of Boko Haram.
