Abuja - The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has revealed why they think President Muhammadu Buhari wants Senator Ike Ekweremadu removed as Deputy Senate President.
According to a Naij report, the group has lashed out at the President, stating that he wants Ekweremadu removed due to him being of Ogbo descent.
The group's hypothesis is contrary to a speculations that Buhari is seeking Ekweremadu's removal due to him not being a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement released by MASSOB leader Uchenna Madu, the group called on all Ndigbo residents to be vigilant of President Buhari's alleged antics against them, Vanguard reports.
“Buhari’s grouse against Ike Ekweremadu is because he is an Igbo man. If a non Igbo PDP senator replaces Ike Ekweremadu, Buhari, Tinubu and their likes will relax their nerves. MASSOB also reminds Ndigbo that this is the time to be your brothers keeper,” the statement read in part.
