Wife divorced for sexually starving pastor husband

19 January 2016, 20:45

Lagos - A 70-year-old pastor has dissolved his marriage of 41-years due to his wife sexually starving him in Lagos, Vanguard reported.

Caleb Oluwafisibe told the Ojo Customary Court in Lagos that he was tired of practicing celibacy as a married man since 2006.

He was told by his wife that they would only get intimate if he was bringing home what she wanted, in this case it was monetary.

The man stated in court that he was forced into celibacy in order to keep his vows as a man of God. Several times the pastor prayed for God to intervene in the matter and change his wife's views.

The wife argued in court that he was treating her without any considerations as according to her, the pastor does not have any regard for his family.

The court president in closing remarks urged the pastor to reconsider his prayer as man of God.
