The governors are believed to be Governors Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State.
The Sun reports that the activities portrayed by the governors have negative security implications.
Both governors will no longer be allowed to travel outside the country unless such travels were duly sanctioned by key security officials.
The directive which was issued three weeks ago according to the source has been handed to all security organisations and relevant offices.
