Lagos - Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has urged security agencies to arrest any Biafran agitators who assault citizens or have been involved in illegal processions.
According to PM Times , the statement was made by the Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Dr Austin Tam-George.
Since the detainment of Nnamdi Kanu, the Director of Biafra Radio, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have embarked on protests to call for his release.
Wike has since banned any separatist protest or procession by IPOB.

“The government has directed all security agencies in the state to arrest and prosecute all Biafran agitators who flout the ban on illegal separatist processions and demonstrations in Rivers State,” the statement read.
The Rivers government also urged state residents to remain calm and abide by the law.
