'Worst APC Governor better than best of PDP Governors'

05 September 2016, 14:08

Gombe - Former Governor of Gombe State and Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriation, Sen. Danjuma Goje, has observed that the worst of the All Progressives Congress, APC, governor is better than the best of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Vanguard reports.

Goje said this in Abuja while drawing comparison between the achievements of his state governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo of the PDP and other APC governors.

Speaking after the inauguration of the Gombe State APC Caretaker Committee, he berated his state government for not considering any APC member in its appointments.

“I want to urge the new caretaker committee members, in the presence of the party leadership and all of you that came from Gombe, to be neutral, to be objective, to be committed in trying to unite this party. I am sure whether you belong to any other group, it is better that you have a bad APC governor than not have a governor at all according to Daily Post.

“Even if APC is bad, it is better, because now that it is PDP government none of our members, no APC man has been giving appointment even as a councillor. So, it is very important that we unite and put our differences behind us, move forward to ensure that we form the next government in Gombe State,” he noted.
