Borno - The Bukar Ali Internally Displaced Persons camp in
Damaturu, Yobe has officially been closed down by the Yobe Government,
According to ChannelsTV, there has been mixed feelings about
the closing down of the camp.
The camp held a population of 391 displaced people.

Displaced people were told to return to their ancestral
homes in peace, even though they were returning to a damaged place.
Executive Secretary of Yobe State Emergency Management Agency,
Musa Jidawa, has stated that IDP's voluntarily agreed to go back to their
homes and wanted to be part of their communities again.
