You cannot end my political career, Melaye tells Tinubu

14 July 2016, 16:50

Abuja - Chairman of the Senate Committee on FCT, Senator Dino Melaye has berated the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu for threatening to deal with him, reports Daily Trust

Melaye said Tinubu cannot end his political career.

He was reacting to Tinubu's comments that he will deal with the Kogi senator for making defamatory remarks to his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

Melaye according to News 24 had in a closed door session at the Senate on Tuesday clashed with Tinubu's wife.

He was reported to have told Tinubu's wife that he would beat and impregnate her and nothing will happen.

The development made her husband to issue statement warning Melaye.

But while addressing newsmen at the Senate on Thursday, Melaye said Tinubu was not God and cannot end his political career.

He said he abused Tinubu's wife because she called him thug and dog during the session.

He denied saying he would impregnate Tinubu's wife, noting that she has already attained menopause.
