Abuja – Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has described as “unnecessary” Nigerians’ impatience with the “Change” agenda of the federal government.
According to The Sun, Osinbajo said President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration was working behind the scenes to correct the ills inflicted on the nation over the past years.
“People now wonder where is the ‘Change’ that formed the crux of our electioneering cam¬paigns, but they fail to understand that patience is also a virtue that they must have as a people,” Osinbajo was quoted as saying.
The deputy president said this during the annual public policy forum, The Platform in Abuja, where he also assured the nation that Buhari was set to sign the 2016 budget this week.
“The budget will become operational in the next few days,” Osinbajo reportedly said.
