Yenagoa - Four people have been killed in the Southern area of Ijaw local government area during the ongoing governorship election in Bayelsa State, reports Leadership.
The four were killed when political thugs tried to disrupt the distribution of election materials in Oporoma, the headquarters of the local government area.

The four people died during a cross fire between the thugs and members of the Joint Military Task force (JTF).
The JTF was trying to repel the rampaging armed thugs from hijacking the electoral materials.
