Yenagoa - No fewer than 1 600 delegates would be voting during Saturday’s Bayelsa governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports New Telegraph.
The figure was disclosed on Monday when the leadership of the party met all the aspirants contesting the election at the national secretariat of the party.

The delegates are those who elected the party’s candidates for the 2015 National and State Assembly elections.
The election would be contested by 19 aspirants including former governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva, former chairman of Niger Delta Development Commission, Timi Alaibe, former Commissioner for Works, Engr. Ebitei Francis and former Ambassador Emmanuel Otiotio.
