Abeokuta - 10 members of the Ogun State House of Assembly have decamped from the All Progressive Congress (APC) to the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Vanguard reports.
The defection was reportedly made possible by a member of House of Representatives representing Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency, Abiodun Akinlade.
The PDP now controls the majority with the number of members increasing from 3 to 13 while other parties such as the APC and Labour Party share the remaining 13 in the 26-member assembly.
