Gombe - No fewer than 10 political parties have fielded candidates for the governorship race in Gombe State for the 2015 general elections.

The Head of Election and Party Monitoring Department of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state,  Mohammed Dauda, made this known in Gombe on Monday.

Dauda said that apart from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which had fielded incumbent governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo, as its candidate, other political parties with candidates for the elections were Accord Party (A) and Advanced Congress of Democrats (ACD).
