Abeokuta - No fewer than Eleven thousand members of the Labour Party (LP) in Ogun state have defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state., reports NewsDay.
The aggrieved members said they decided to pitch their tents with the APC following the leadership crisis rocking the Labour Party.

The defected members include two out of the three Labour party senatorial chairmen, five local government chairmen, a local government women leader, nine hundred wards and council leaders and more than ten thousand members.
A joint statement signed by the Ogun Central Senatorial Chairman of the Labour Party Otunba Musiliudeen Oladeinde and his Ogun West Senatorial Chairman, Tunde Okoya said the members made the decision due to the unprecedented achievements of Governor Ibikunle Amosun in less than four years of his administration in the state.
