Kano - Twelve members of the House of Representatives from Kano State have denied backing Gov Abdullahi Ganduje in the current feud between him and his predecessor, Rabiu Kwankwaso
The lawmakers said their meeting with Ganduje was purely a reconciliation effort and not an endorsement of the governor.
Seventeen of the 24 members of the House of Representatives had in a communique at the end of a meeting held on March 19, appended their signatures endorsing Ganduje as the only leader in the state.

But in another communique, the 12 lawmakers said their unalloyed support is for both Kwankwaso and Ganduje.
The lawmakers are Aliyu Sani madaki, Sani Muhammed Rano, Danburam Abubakar Nuhu, Nasiru Sule Garo, Umar Garba and Bashir Baballe.
Others are Muktari M. Chiromawa, Musa Ado Tsamiya, Shehu U. Aliyu, Garba Ibrahim Muhammed, Abdulmumini Jibrin and Ahmed Garba Bichi.
