Minna - Two former heads of state, Generals Ibrahim Babangida and Abdusalami Abubakar, led four northern governors in a strategic meeting in Minna, Niger State, ostensibly to discuss the fate of the North in the forthcoming 2015 election, Premium Times reports.
Members of the Northern Elders’ Forum and the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) have, on many occasions, insisted on the return of power to the North through the 2015 election.

The two former heads of state met in Minna with four northern governors: Aliyu, Niger; Rabiu Musa Kwakwanso, Kano; Sule Lamido, Jigawa and their counterpart from Sokoto State, Aliyu Wamakko.
