Ibadan - The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State on Tuesday said 300 delegates from the state would be attending the party’s National Convention billed for Abuja between Thursday and Friday.
Akin Oke, the chairman of the party in the state, said this at the inauguration of the state executive of the party in Ibadan.
Oke, who urged members of the new executive to be honest and dedicated, vowed that the party would continue to govern the state.
The chairman also said that the local government and ward executives would also be inaugurated soon.
Oke, however, appealed to aggrieved members of the party in the state to partner with the leadership in providing good governance in the state.
The APC chieftain also backed the call for the enforcement of the electoral rules on display of posters by aspirants in contravention of INEC’s timetable.
INEC in Oyo State had asked the police to enforce the electoral rule and prosecute aspirants that display their posters.
