Yola - Principals of 778 secondary schools across Adamawa State have unanimously endorsed the candidature of the acting governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in the forthcoming 0ctober 11 by-election.
This was disclosed in a press statement signed by the press secretary to the acting governor, Solomon Kumangar which was made available to journalists on Thursday.

According to the statement, the school principals arrived at the decision at the end of a stakeholders’ meeting with the acting governor.
He explained that the principals’ decision to support Fintiri was premised on his ability to make a clean break from the past, as evidenced by the recent improvement in teachers’ welfare.
The statement said the acting governor promised that his government would continue to identify with the aspirations of the Adamawa people and would never let them down or take them back to the inglorious past.
It said the stakeholders at the meeting included the speaker and members of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, former legislators, former and serving commissioners, special advisers, past and present local government chairmen.
