A’Ibom PDP slams APC over election claims

Uyo -  The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akwa Ibom State has condemned the All Progressives Congress (APC) for criticizing the recent visit of the party’s leadership to the state over the raid of the state Government House by the Directorate of State Security (DSS), reports Thisday.

The party berated the APC for dabbling into a matter it has no business with.

The party stated that the visit of the PDP leaders to one of the states under its control is well within the rights of the leaders and stakeholders of the party.

The party was reacting to comment credited to the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Lai Mohammed, which faulted the visit.

Obong Paul Ekpo,  chairman of the PDP in the state warned Mohammed to watch his words and desist from making unguarded allegations against the party.

On the election dispute before the tribunal, the Ekpo warned the APC spokesman to refrain from making wild, unguarded statements and claims over a matter which is subjudice and which he knows little or nothing about
