APC, Fayose bicker over one year in office

15 October 2015, 17:06

Ado Ekiti - Gov. Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state on Wednesday disagreed on the performance of the present administration in the last one year, reports The Nation.

While Fayose gave himself a thumbs up for his performance since he assumed office, describing it as satisfactory, the APC described his showing in office as a celebration of reversal of fortunes for the people of the state.

Fayose insisted that he had done creditably well in office, despite the state’s financial challenges.

He noted that he has been able to inaugurate many projects with many others also ongoing.

The APC in a statement by its state’s Publicity Secretary Taiwo Olatunbosun, however, said the experience of Ekiti people in the last one year had shown clearly that there is nothing to celebrate in terms of achievements.

The party accused Fayose of  running a one-man government without regard to the law.
